One afternoon, the coach of the Edison High wrestling team overheard one of his students boasting about a fight he had gotten into over the weekend. Coach pulled the boy aside after school and challenged him to put his tough-guy reputation on the line. That weekend, Thomas Kenney had his first professional fight.
