Restylane’s hyaluronic acid-based formula binds to water molecules, adding volume and smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. The result is a natural-looking and rejuvenated appearance lasting several months to a year or more.

Preparation
Before your Restylane treatment, it’s important to avoid certain medications and supplements that can increase the risk of bruising. You should also avoid alcohol and smoking, which can dehydrate the skin. Please discuss any medical conditions or allergies with your medical provider, and come to your appointment with a clean, makeup-free face.

Treatment
During your Restylane session, your medical provider will cleanse the treatment area and apply a topical numbing cream to ensure comfort. The Restylane filler will be injected into the skin using a fine needle or cannula. The procedure takes 15-30 minutes, and you can resume your normal activities immediately afterward.

Side Effects
Like any cosmetic treatment, Restylane may cause temporary side effects, such as redness, swelling, and bruising at the injection site. These resolve within a few days to a week.
